Does it click for me?
Not in the build you can download today, which has no code in it that can press a key or move your mouse. That changes when Do ships, and only if you turn it on.
Will pointing go away once Do exists?
No. There will always be days you want to learn the thing rather than have it done.
When exactly?
In the coming weeks. We would rather give you a real date late than a fake one now.
How it works.
Does it work in software nobody has heard of?
Usually, and that is the point. An in-house tool from 2014 is no harder for it than Word, because it is not relying on having seen the app before.
Can it change Windows settings or open other apps?
Yes. The taskbar, Start menu and Settings are all readable, so you can ask for things outside the app you are standing in.
Does it type for me?
No. It points at the field and shows you the exact text.
Does it work offline?
No. Planning runs on a cloud model.
What if it gets it wrong?
It works from the screen as it is right now rather than a memorised path, so a wrong turn usually corrects itself on the next step. When it cannot, it says so instead of pointing at nothing.
Privacy and limits.
Does it take screenshots?
No. No picture of your screen is captured at any point, so none is ever sent or stored.
What stops it looking at my bank?
A check that runs before anything else does. Password managers, banking, checkout and payment windows end the run, and it cannot be switched off. Details on what it won't do.
Is it watching in the background?
No. It reads when you press the shortcut and stops when the task ends.
Is my history private?
Signed in, your goal text and task metadata sync to your account. Screen content is never stored or synced.
Can I use my own API key?
Yes. Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter or Gemini, encrypted on your machine. See bring your own key.
What does it cost?
No pricing yet. This site will say so before anyone is charged.
How old do I need to be?
